In my 16 years of being a Pastor's wife my ultimate goal has been to add comfort to chaos. In the past two years I have been living in and environment where chaos overcomes comfort. Our church is out of Divine Order. I am under personal attacks with injuries. My husband dosen't defend or protect me. I have had my church office taken from me, etc. I'm in horrendous warfare! Agape, Elaine

Praise ye the Lord! I just found this site and read your distress message! Hopefully God got the Victory in your Chaos! I am new at being the Wife of a Pastor over a congregation and just 2 years.....2 hard cruel years full of chaos and frustration! I would not be still there if I had not held on to Gods word, faith, and much prayer! I have voiced a lot of my frustration to my husband and feel sometimes he doesn't feel me.....I think he does, however the position of the Leader of the Church full of chaos, there is no time for family. This is where we get hit hard. Stay prayerful for those who come against you....God will come through for you! Know that you are not alone...I feel you!Guest (Guest) (02/14/2013 09:38) Just stumble on this site. What advise can you give to a pastor's wife where her husband is the biggest obstacle. He puts her down with every one he talks too, yet stands on the pulpit and says he love his wife. There is not an ounce of romance or emotion in this marriage, yet he preach "men ought to love their wives as Christ love the church".
