| Encouraging Our Husbands | | Ok, so our biggest challenge right now is in our finances. When God called my husband to plant a church he had been a youth pastor for seven years at a fairly large church with benefits and a nice salary. Well, God called him to eneter into full-time ministry right from the start. Right at the beginning of the church plant I found out I was pregnant with our third child and we had no money!!
To make a long story short, we solely depend on love offerings fromt he congregation and the church gives him a housing allowance. The allowance is consistent but our mortgage takes up a little over half of that. Anyway, my husband is now feeling like a failure because his family is having to suffer for him following the voice of God!! He is so depressed and I have no idea what to do. I encourage him but but he always has a come back and my husband should have been a lawyer! LOL!!
I just need help on how to get him through this tough time! HELP!!

Kayla,
I really hope that God has answered your prayers over your finances! He will always provide a way for you and your family when you are following Him. I know it is going to be tough, but continue to place your faith in Him! Encouarage your man that he is doing what is right and that you are standing with him during this time. Congrats on the new baby.
