Remaining Active in the Church
How do you let the people of your church know that you care and that you are an active part even though you are working full time?

I make sure I set aside time weekly or monthly to meet with other woman one-on-one and I am involved in a Monday night Bible study. We love getting together on those nights and enjoying each others comfort, friendship and strength as well as each others weaknesses and troubles.

Plan to be present in the lobby of the church to greet people as they arrive or before service begins, walk among the people and talk to a few. Be sure to talk to people that you do not know very well or at all. Also, you can be in the lobby at the end of the service to meet people as well. Another idea is to create a small group of ladies to help you send birthday cards to your congregation members. Meet together and do this one morning per month. All of these things help YOU to feel that they know you care.

Devi, our church does the card thing currently. We love scrap booking and really enjoy making different cards for the church body. I really feel it connects us and makes them feel loved to receive these hand made cards!
